After more thorough research it seems that the LB7 has two map type sensors that function as two different things. One is the boost pressure sensor that is mounted in the passenger side intake manifold, and the other is a barometric pressure sensor that is mounted externally on the driver side of the engine. From what I can tell the P0107 code
MSRP Price: 143.78. BW Part #: 13628644432.OEM. Brand: Continental VDO. (In Stock) Description. Customer Reviews. This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 13628644432 (13-62-8-644-432) and is described as "Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor", or MAP sensor for short. MAP sensors can be found in more than one location on turbocharged BMW
The boost pressure sensor with temperature sensor is installed in the air inlet pipe ("inlet manifold") between the turbocharger and engine, and measures the absolute pressure. Additional consideration for the intake air temperature allows more accurate measurement of the intake air mass.

As currently used, the terms “pressure differential,” “MAP” and “intake manifold vacuum” refer to the difference between atmospheric and intake manifold pressures. Atmospheric pressure is about 14.7 pounds per square inch of pressure at sea level. Atmospheric pressure at sea level will also support a column of liquid mercury (Hg) 29
